Directed to everyone in treatment, this film identifies the common relapse precipitants and dramatically illustrates how specific " high risk" factors can be managed. The relapse process is a "chain of events" in which use is typically preceded by changes in attitudes, thoughts, feelings or behaviors. Relapse often is "set up" by decisions that addicts make even when no conscious connection is made. This film provides an important tool for treatment centers by giving the therapeutic community an effective way to show patients what the threat of relapse really means.
